For cool bedrooms below approximately 18°C and for anyone who gets cold quickly at night. In normally heated rooms, the All-Season Goose Down Duvet is usually more comfortable.
Do you sweat under a winter down duvet?
Generally no: down is breathable and wicks moisture away. It is important that the warmth level matches the room temperature.
Is the duvet suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes, for house dust allergy sufferers: The cover is NOMITE-certified and down-proof. If you react to down or feathers yourself, you should opt for the vegan Winter Primaloft Duvet.
Can I wash the down duvet?
Yes, up to 60°C in the washing machine and then in the dryer – please check the care label. For large duvets, a machine with a large drum or a laundromat is recommended.
Which size do I need?
135 × 200 cm is the standard size for single beds, while 155 × 220 cm is worth considering from a body height of around 1.85 m. 200 × 200 and 240 × 220 cm are for couples sharing a duvet. Our size guide can help.
What is the difference compared to a duck down duvet?
This duvet is filled with new white goose down of Class I (90% down, 10% feathers). Goose down is on average larger than duck down – so usually less fill weight is needed for the same warmth, making the duvet particularly light.
