Bed linen

Traumwelt Bettwarenfabrik carries satin bed linen from BEFA Natur, a German bedding manufacturer. We selected it using the same criteria as our duvets and pillows: tested materials, made in Germany, and honest specifications. The bed linen is made from 100% cotton in a satin weave, is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, and can be washed at 60°C. Available in off-white, grey, blue, navy, and black – in 135×200, 155×220, 200×200, and 240×220 cm, each with one or two 80×80 cm pillowcases. Free shipping within Germany.

The duvet cover must be exactly the same size as your duvet. 135×200 cm is the standard size in Germany and is suitable for people up to about 1.80 m tall. 155×220 cm is the comfort size – wider and longer, ideal for tall people or anyone who likes to snuggle up. For couples sharing a duvet, there are 200×200 cm and 240×220 cm (King Size) options; these sets include two pillowcases. All pillowcases measure 80×80 cm and fit our 80×80 cm pillows. Our duvets are available in exactly the same four sizes.

All three are cotton bed linen, but they differ in weave. Satin is woven in a sateen weave: more threads are exposed on the surface, making the fabric particularly smooth, softly draping, and slightly lustrous. Renforcé is woven in a plain weave, matte, durable, and slightly coarser. Percale is also woven in a plain weave, but is very dense and feels cool and crisp. Satin is the right choice if you want a luxurious, silky feel that is comfortable at any time of year.
