The Summer Climate Blanket has the same high-quality filling as our classic summer down duvet: 90% new, white duck down and 10% Class I small feathers. The difference lies in the construction: instead of squares, it has continuous channels separated by breathable climate bands. These bands allow excess heat and moisture to escape more easily – for less heat buildup on warm summer nights.

If you quickly get too warm even in summer under a light down duvet, the climate blanket is the better choice. For a normal sense of warmth, the classic Summer Down Duvet is sufficient.

What are climate bands?
Climate bands are narrow, breathable fabric strips between the filling channels. Due to their open structure, warm, moist air can escape more easily than through continuous fabric – so less heat builds up under the blanket.
What room temperature is the Summer Climate Blanket suitable for?
For bedrooms from around 22 °C and warm summer nights. For normally tempered bedrooms, the All-Season Climate Blanket is suitable, and for cool rooms, the Winter Climate Blanket.
How long does delivery take?
The climate blanket is shipped directly to you by our manufacturing partner in Germany: approx. 2 business days for processing plus approx. 2 business days for shipping with DHL – a total of around 4 business days. Shipping within Germany is free.
Can I wash the blanket?
Yes, up to 60 °C in the washing machine and then in the dryer – please check the care label. For large blankets, a machine with a large drum or a laundromat is recommended.
Do I need a duvet cover?
Yes, please always use the blanket with a duvet cover. You can find matching 100% cotton sateen bedding further down on this page.
Where does the down come from?
The filling is DOWNPASS certified: The down is verifiably not from live-plucking or stuffing farms.
